1) Se estudian 20 casos en que se intervino quirúrgicamente por traumatismo de gruesa arteria a destino en los miembros.
2) Dieciséis de los casos presentaban lesiones asociadas, osteoarticulares de partes blandas o nerviosas.
3) Se analizan los mecanismos de producción de las lesiones (en su mayoría accidentes de trabajo) y la topografía de las mismas.
4) Se señala la indicación de la intervención quirúrgica y la oportunidad operatoria.
5) Se estudia la conducta a seguir con la lesión arterial, que debe tender a la restauración del flujo, que se hizo con injerto venoso ( 14 casos) sutura arterial (3 casos) o adventicectomía (3 casos) en caso de contusión con espasmo arterial.
6) Se analiza la conducta frente a la lesión osteoarticular de partes blandas o nerviosa asociada.
7) Se señalan los resultados, con 16 restituciones integrales, 3 secuelas por lesión asociada, 1 amputación por atrición distal, ningún caso de muerte o trombosis en sector arterial reparado.

Se estudia la acción de la bilis y de las secreciones bilio-duodeno-pancreáticas sobre la mucosa gástrica del perro. Se emplea para ello 2 series de 20 animales cada una, con evolución entre 7 y 60 días, a los que se estudian mediante la clínica y la anatomía patológica, previa biopsia.
Los autores concluyen que la bilis pura produce gastritis crónica severa con metaplasia intestinal, a diferencia del jugo bilio-duodeno-pancreático en el que la gastritis crónica es de menor intensidad y sin metaplasia intestinal.
